Vientiane Journey
Now, im continue my story about our journey to Vientiane, Laos (1Bike1Couple). Im explaining simple route to make more easier for you to understand.We ride early morning from Bangkok City- Khon Kean- Udon Thani-Vientiane. In between 4 places there..we stay one nite at Khon Kean. Along the journey, we had a great moment to visit a few interactive place and snap a picture. Must stop here!! Farm Chokchai..situated at the Pak Chong.
Chokchai Farm is actually a dairy farm. It is accepted as one of the biggest farm in Asia. Zoo inside the farm with a lot of activities to join such as
feeding the deer and rabbits, feeding milk to baby cow and watching
animal shows.Admission Fees for Adult 250 Baht & Child 120 Baht.
Our lunch here at the Ayah Restaurant just opposite the Chokchai Farm Main Entry. Its a halal restaurant and have prayer room (for muslim), aircon and so yummyyyyyyy taste of steak...masya allah..we also pack one Briyani rice for our dinner tonight.

After that, we continue riding to next town Nakhon Ratchasima, among biggest town nearby. Unfortunately, we have some minor problem at Nakhon Ratchasima town, when suddenly our ultimate versys light going off. After check the fuse and bulb its good but the light still off.
Alhamdullilah we manage to find a spare part shop that willing to helps us immediately even they are going to close the shop at that time. They are very kind. Very recommended. Its take about 3 hours to make a troubleshooting. Finally a bypass has been made direct to main light with a fues.

We arrived to Khon Kean on day4 a bit late and stay at Khon Kean Hotel with 380baht pernite. Good hotel and just nearest with Khon Kean Central Mosque. As a muslim, defenitely im must find mosque first before decided to choose hotel. This is about halal food must be at that area and much more easier to us.
On day5, early morning we check out and visit to mosque. We look around and meet Maulana Hatim, Iman of Khon Kean Central Mosque. His from Laos/Myammar (mix pakistan/afganistan blood) and take care of this mosque. His very kind and friendly. He so excited story about their plan to build up (in progress) one big building for school and tahfiz Al-Quran for Siamese and Burmese here. He also show us to muslim restaurant nearby the mosque. Alhamdulillah...so..our breakfast was there and packing for lunch also.
So, we continue our ride to Vientiane after breakfast here. And we through Udon Thani dan NangKhai Border Immigration. Administration at Immigration Thailand more easier compared than Laos Immigration but alhamdullillah everything was find. We through Friendship Bridge border Thai-Laos and feel so excited now...hoorayyy...

Charges for bike no really expensive and actually not in the list charges on the board as a vehicle to charge. But the officer just simply say the amount and not so expensive and very reasonable..so we ok with that. But a few counter we have to follow to get the permission. This is because we did by our self, no agent and not in group or joining any motobike event there. But... yes...easy..alhamdulillah...
Finally ..... Me, My Wife & My Ultimate Versys
Patuxai meaning Victory Gate or Gate of Triumph, formerly the
Anousavary or Anosavari Monument, known by the French as Monument Aux Morts) is a war monument in the centre of Vientiane, Laos, which was built between 1957 and 1968. The Patuxai is dedicated to those who fought in the struggle for independence from France.
This is “black stupa” and one of Vientiane’s historical landmarks. The old,
weathered stupa is found on a square in the middle of a roundabout near
the Talat Sao, Vientiane’s morning market in the center of town.The black stupa is found in the middle of the roundabout that connects
Chantha Khoumane road and Bartholonie road about halfway between the
Patuxai monument and the Mekong river.
And as usual Vientiane Jamia Masjid (mosque) must visit place. Do as normal muslim...alhamdulillah we are here after almost 2000 km ride.. with only 1 bike and with mylovely wife... feel blessed... we got Allah to protect our journey..our ride...our mission...and meet others people out there who proud of us.. as usual they will said.... "what??? couple? 1 bike? from Kuala Lumpur?...are u crazy????"

We back to border at same day. Enter the Loa Border to Nangkhai Custom Border around 9pm.We depart from Loa Immigration at 9pm (local time) to Udon Thani, Thailand for overnight and watching celebrating Chinese New Year.

Finally we back here at night. We meet same officer duty from morning until night and they are still remember us and our motobike. They say "Hi! How is Vientiane?" hahahahahaha.....malay say.. 'yang penting puas hati'...
Anyway... this is our last picture tonight. You know why this picture like so shaking???? hahahhahaha... because our hand already vibrate non stop after riding the whole day....so funny... hihi..we smile each others...and move to find hotel... tired... tired...
Another 68km to go.... i thought it gonna be a memorable and romantic nights, riding under a full moon and fire crackers a long the highway on celebrating Chinese New Year tomorrow like a typical nights at Malaysia...
As a typical human, we only can dream and plan but Allah SWT no better. 15 minutes after crossing the imigration ckeck point, i just maintain the speed below 100km/ hour with hopping we are not alone at the highway.
Unfortunely there is no sign of vehicle on the way to near city and also no vehicle heading to Loas boders. No sound and fire cracker at the sky and the moon seem like promising with the star hiding behind the clouds.
Its rainning and cold. No streets light along the highways.
Syukur Alhamdulillah we safely arrive at the hotel around 1145 pm.
